He has extensive experience in financial strategy, management and Mergers & Acquisition transactions. In the early part of his career he was an international corporate tax specialist, for 7 years in the copper, gold and aluminum mining and refining industry. He has lived and worked in the UK for six years and in the US for several years. He is also fluent in French and Italian. He possesses a solid reputation for transparency, integrity and ethical behavior.
- He is a university accredited professional independent Director with a Chartered Director (C. Dir.) designation. This designation is the gold standard in Canada for director accreditation, which is granted jointly by The Directors College and McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business, of which he is also a faculty member. In March 2011 he completed the Audit Committee Certified designation (A.C.C.), also from The Directors College. He has also completed The Directors College Board Chairs Forum and Osgoode Hall Law School’s The Advanced Legal Guide to Advising The Public Company Board of Directors.
