Jacques Trottier, Ph.D.

• Since 2007,he is President and CEO of Amex Exploration Inc. He has dedicated his career mostly to managing junior exploration companies as VP of Research and Development for Morisco Mining Group (1987-93), as President and CEO for Coleraine Mineral Resources Inc. (1993-96), and as President and CEO for Sulliden Exploration Inc. (1996-2006). He received recognition in the year 2000 as prospector of the year in Peru. He is also author of various articles published in prestigious international magazines such as Economic Geology, Mineralium Deposita, and CIM Bulletin.Points

C. Tucker Barrie, Ph.D.
Director

• He has over 20 years of experience in the Canadian and international mineral exploration and mining sectors, providing advice to major and junior exploration and mining companies and to several governments.
• He has worked in 20 countries on a variety of base and precious metal deposits types, including volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS), porphyry copper-gold, magmatic nickel-copper sulphide, and magmatic platinum group element deposits.
• He has authored or co-authored 40 journal papers, as well as over 60 qualifying reports, abstracts, and maps on metallic mineral deposits and related topics. He is a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists, and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Windsor and Laurentian University in Canada.

Anthony Giovinazzo
Director

• He has 31 years of experience in international investment and operating management, with an emphasis in strategic visioning, financial management and business development. For the past 17 years, he has been a venture capitalist and CEO in the high growth biotechnology fields. He is currently the CEO of Cynapsus Therapeutics Inc. (TSX.V: CTH). He has extensive experience in financial strategy, management and Mergers & Acquisition transactions. In the early part of his career he was an international corporate tax specialist, for 7 years in the copper, gold and aluminum mining and refining industry. He has lived and worked in the UK for six years and in the US for several years. He is also fluent in French and Italian. He possesses a solid reputation for transparency, integrity and ethical behavior.
• He is a university accredited professional independent Director with a Chartered Director (C. Dir.) designation. This designation is the gold standard in Canada for director accreditation, which is granted jointly by The Directors College and McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business, of which he is also a faculty member. In March 2011 he completed the Audit Committee Certified designation (A.C.C.), also from The Directors College. He has also completed The Directors College Board Chairs Forum and Osgoode Hall Law School’s The Advanced Legal Guide to Advising The Public Company Board of Directors. He is a founding faculty member of the McMaster University’s Not For Profit Governance Institute. He completed the Leadership and Strategy in Pharmaceuticals and Biotech program of the Harvard Business School.
• He holds an MBA from IMD of the University of Geneva, Switzerland (1986); a Certificate of Studies in Canadian Law from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Canada (1984); and a BA (Economics) from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada (1978).
